Namibia – Swakopmund is a must.
Mozambique – be sure to complete your PADI scuba diving licence in SA BEFORE you go. Mozam has some of the best scenery when it comes to scuba diving. it would be a sin not to take advantage of it when you are there.
Tinus, this is a bit late ha but I ended up getting certified in SA (for so cheap), and I dived all around Mozambique. Tofo was pretty epic for the whale sharks and big animals. The Quirimbas in Northern Mozambique had hands down the most stunning corals and scenery. The colors were out of this world intense, and is still a prettier dive than anywhere I’ve been subsequently!
