The year 2018 is about to end, but that only means that it is time to start thinking about your 2019 holiday destinations. When deciding where to go, a main focus should be on wanting to create an experience that will be memorable; it is important to plan ahead and carefully select your next destination in order to avoid inconveniences and maximize the experience.
Before this year ends, I have compiled a list of my top 5 favourite holiday destinations from 2018 that may hopefully give you some inspiration on where to start looking in the new year.
Believe it or not, this bustling city of the U.A.E. is one of the ideal holiday destinations for families not only in the Middle East, but also in the whole world. The presence of a huge number of theme parks, beautiful beaches and big shopping malls makes Dubai a great place to stay in the holidays.
Don’t forget about the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world, as the main attraction of the city. Other historical and cultural sites such as the Dubai Museum, the Bastakia (Old Dubai) and Sheikh Saeed Al-Maktoum’s House are also worth the visit.
When considering that Brazil has over 2,000 beaches, famous natural attractions such as the Amazon River and Rainforest and Iguacu Falls, it is no surprise that it has made it onto my favourites list for 2018. The Brazilian Carnival is also one of the most anticipated annual events of the country, while its travel-friendly weather can give you a chance to go to Brazil at any time of the year; if you have ever fancied travelling to Latin America, then 2019 is the time to do it.
Mauritius is an island located in the Indian Ocean that promotes itself as a year-round destination and is good for beach and sea-loving tourists and visitors. If you want to go to a place that has an amazing tropical environment, then this country is worth considering. Just imagine relaxing on a pristine beach, while enjoying the tropic paradise or doing some water sports activities; sounds like bliss.
Cyprus was a clear runner in favourite destinations due to its clear blue seas, its beautiful beaches and its stunning accommodation options and villas. The country has always been an amazing destination with the presence of its one-of-a-kind exotic beaches that have remained pure and intact through the years. Ayia Napa, Coral Bay, Larnaca, Paphos, and Limassol are just some of the beautiful resorts that can accommodate you when you are travelling to Cyprus.
If you want to spend your holidays watching the African continent’s greatest wildlife in action, then Kenya is a perfect place to visit. The country prides itself as an inexpensive tourist destination and is Africa’s top safari location.
